Fil-X PLA Wayless is an advanced lightweight PLA filament engineered for projects that require reduced weight without sacrificing print quality or strength. Formulated with a special foaming additive, it offers significant weight reduction while maintaining excellent surface finish and dimensional accuracy. This makes it ideal for RC aircraft, drones, cosplay parts, architectural models, and decorative prints where low mass and efficiency are key.

Designed for versatility, Fil-X PLA Wayless prints smoothly at speeds between 60 mm/s and 250 mm/s, and can even reach higher speeds under optimized flow conditions. The filament provides strong layer adhesion and minimal warping, ensuring consistent results across large and small prints alike. It performs best with a heated bed temperature between 50 °C and 65 °C, and adheres well to common surfaces such as PEI, glass, painter’s tape, or glue-coated beds.

Each spool contains 1 kg of 1.75 mm filament (approximately 350 m of material), delivering excellent value and consistent extrusion. Thanks to its foaming properties, Fil-X PLA Wayless Grey reduces overall material usage while producing parts that are up to 50% lighter than standard PLA. The result is a filament that enables faster prints, lower inertia in moving parts, and greater design freedom for lightweight applications.
